The main objective was the implementation of an educational program aimed at the formation of 3210 coastal inhabitants, who will be called multipliers. They received training on the importance of biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of fisheries. Then, a program of conservation of flora, fauna and water sources of the Mangrove ecosystems was applied, putting into practice what was learned in the trainings, carrying out conservation actions, waste management and maintenance of water sources.
Transversally, a communication plan was applied to involve the inhabitants of the region. It will consist of the design of a digital application for mobile phones, a web page and social networks, with the content of training and evidence of conservation activities, and this material will be a pedagogical tool that promotes Ecotourism and conservation in this region. .
